I've been looking for a new exercise regime lately since I've not worked out in way too long. It is totally unacceptable and I simply must get going again very soon. No excuses. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do for sure, but I've got my eye on yoga. And I think I hear it calling my name. I want to get a tape by Sadie Nardini to start. I would love to take classes and get instruction, but they are prohibitively expensive here.
I recently watched the video below of Ana Forrest and was blown away. She is in her 50's! Like me! Of course, she has done yoga since she was very young, but still. Check it out:
I quit Jazzercise not too long ago after the class ignored me when I fell down in the middle of a routine... just like I wasn't even there. I couldn't muster the energy to go back; it just didn't feel right anymore. Until we move to our acreage, I feel kind of stuck in my exercise choices. And since I've been going to gyms since I was 30, I'm really tired of them. Mike and I have a multi-station weight lifting machine, but have nowhere to put it until we move. And once I get to our farm, I'll have almost eleven acres to walk and get my heart rate up. But in the meantime, maybe yoga will become a part of my new fitness regime. I'm going to order the Nardini tape today!
