Moving last weekend was brutal. What we thought would take a couple of days took twice that. I think I lost some weight and I really don't need to be losing any weight! But the house is sold! Sold Sold SOLD! Tra-la! Tra-la! We feel very fortunate. Closing was last night and took all of thirty minutes. We feel like a huge load has been lifted because we'd been paying two large mortgages for four years. Poor Mike had to work like a crazy man just to keep up and sometimes it was quite stressful. Now our overhead is way less and it feels mighty good. Soon we will celebrate.
It's the beginning of a three-day weekend and we hope to get the cabin in order. When we moved, we just kinda dumped boxes and furniture everywhere - just to get it the stuff moved. Chaos reigns... but it's slightly organized chaos.
No time right now, but I will ramble on more this weekend. And I will catch up on some emails too!
But before I go, here are two baby veggie pictures... one of the cucumbers I started from seed that didn't make it down to the garden...
There is something that just gets me going seeing seeds come to life. Mike must think I'm losing my mind running all around the garden pointing to the little plants breaking through the ground. It just amazes me that such a dried little hard thing like a seed holds so much life in it. It's truly a wondrous thing.
