And that is only one of the benefits of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. I am so relieved... for the children, for seniors and for everyone who has been expected to stay sick and or die because they can't afford care.
It's a question of personal responsibity isn't it? The tax (i.e. penalty) will be levied only on people who can afford to pay for health insurance but choose not to get it. What happens when that person gets sick and has to go to the emergency room? We end up paying for their treatment through jacked-up insurance rates. With the PPACA, everyone becomes responsible. Isn't that the way it should be? The answer is yes.
